Rosaly Roffman

Retired Professor/English Dept. IUP. Founder of myth/folklore studies center. Progenitor of courses in Asian Studies including Japanese film and Japanese and Chinese Literature in Japan. Lived in Hawaii and Japan 2 1/2 years. Stayed in Kyoto Zen Monastery in the days of Gary Snyder and Clayton Eshleman. Have been associated with 25 collaborations including one called FUROSHIKI (language with no words at the center). Facilitates poetry workshop in Pittsburgh, most recent book I WANT TO THANK MY EYES.
